I had a really great weekend.

Friday night a few of us went round to Matty's for drinks and whatnot. There was Jaz, Tayls, Matty, Ella, Han, Anne Laure and I. Passion Pop did nothing to me. It was weird. At about 10.30 Tayls, Jaz and I went outside with pots and pans, counted down from 10 and yelled 'Happy New Year' and banged pots. It was awesome. We played pool, listened to good music, Jaz and I wrote a song for Anne Laure - it was really fun; part emo, part Aussie hip hop. Very fun. Then we watched Se7en. I was dissapointed. Saw was way better.

Saturday I went to the city to see some bands with my new friends Freya and Lizzy. It was fun. Pirate Pirate were heaps better than last time, The Violence Party were good too, Hors D'vors were amazing - I really loved them, and Breeds There A Man...? were damn fine again. Then I caught the train home, and sitting in my lounge room were Ella, Matty, Imi and Amelia. We watched War Of The Worlds (shit) and ate dinner, then went to Scotty's. Scotty's was fun. Passion Pop had an effect on me, thank God. Umm, hung out with my friends and Sophie's friends, in the garage, away from the party, because Scott's friends are all LOSERS. So yeah, it was a really fun night.

Then today I worked all day, and made myself $110 which will pay for my Falls ticket nicely.

Tomorrow I am filming at Arthurs Seat maze for a film. I hope it works out well.

Thanks for coming out yesterday Sam. How long are we gonna have to wait until we can play with your band? ;)

No worries Pete. Did the show go well from your point of view?

Umm, maybe a little longer. I am terrible with keeping band members motivated. One day though, it will happen. Haha.

Yeah from my POV it ran well. Didn't lose money, no one caused trouble, people found the venue, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Awesome. I told work I couldn't work next Saturday arvo so I'll be at the Your Black Star show. What are they like? I'm really there for The New, but I like SAH and have heard great things about the other two bands.

Your Black Star will blow you away. I hadn't heard them until the tour last year, but really loved seeing them at their shows then, and am stoked to be putting on a show for them this time! Coldspoon Conspiracy are very mid 90's and rad.

aw, you're listening to us! :) we have a song about passion pop. pots and pans are so great. hors d'vors is an excellent name for a band.

i'm not quite sure, we write it as "Passion Pop" on setlists. it goes WHY DOES THE BOTTLESHOP HAVE NO PASSION POP?

most certainly. or even better, write a song WITH them.
